Information about the Music Centre

The Dark Peak Music Trust is a charitable organisation established in 2008 to support and promote music making for young people in the area. It is supported by the Derbyshire City and County Music Partnership. Altogether the Centres involve over 150 young musicians.

The Dark Peak Music Trust runs six ensembles open to players from the Chapel-en-le-Frith, New Mills and Glossop area.

The table below gives details of each ensemble.

NB. All ensembles rehearse most weeks during term time. Rehearsals do not normally take place during school holidays. A full rehearsal and performance schedule is published each term.
