The Dark Peak Music Foundation turns 25 in October and we have been running a series of events and projects throughout the year to celebrate this milestone
Building on success
Over the years it has been our privilege and pleasure to work with successive generations of brilliant young people and we hope you cherish wonderful memories of your time in Dark Peak. Each generation has stood on the shoulders of their predecessors and we owe the success of Dark Peak to its founding pioneers.
Celebrate with us
As a past or current member we would like to invite you to join us for a special celebration event on 4th October 2026 at Glossop Cricket Club.
We hope this celebration will be a chance to relive great experiences and reconnect with old friends, at the same time as looking forward to the next chapter for Dark Peak. Some of our recent graduates are preparing a video wall showing the story of Dark Peak in images and video. If you have any pictures of your Dark Peak experiences you would like to share, please email them to andy@darkpeakmusic.co.uk

Afternoon: 15:30 - 17:30
This session is open to current members of Dark Peak and their families.
Evening: 19:00 - Midnight
This session is open to alumni, friends and supporters of Dark Peak.
The organisation has grown from small beginnings in 2001 to become one of the most successful and highly regarded music centres in the region. High points have included performing in the Music for Youth Proms at London's Royal Albert Hall, Gold Awards at the National Concert Band Festival and European concert tours including Spain, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic and Belgium.
