Our annual Gala concert at the Octagon in Buxton is one of the main events of the Dark Peak calendar, featuring all the ensembles in one spectacular performance.
The concert showcases all our musicians from the youngest, some of whom will be making their debut in their first proper concert, through to advanced groups including the national award-winning Dark Peak Concert Band.
The programme will include a performance of Prokofiev's classic musical tale for children "Peter and the Wolf" in a special adaption for the combined forces of the Youth Orchestra and Concert Band, narrated by actor Shaun Hennessey.
